We've heard it all before

Recently, with all of the violence in Egypt, Glenn beck has been doubling down on his rather apocolyptic predictions on what might happen. For instance, in this recent screed from his radio show he says this:

Now, then, Chris Matthews, a few days ago on Hardball, said that he had never seen anything like that said on TV. You must live in a different part of the country. For every Sunday for years, itenerant preachers have been putting out predictions of Armageddon starting in Egypt.

Now I have been saying for some time that the Tea Party movement...the REAL Tea Party movement, was inspired not by people like Sarah Palin, but by people like Van Impe who have preached that these are the "Last Days" as predicted in Revelations, and that those who are with the Lord (specifically those who are straight, white, asexual, and conservative) have a duty to eliminate certain heathen from the earth to please the coming savior.

More fuel to this fire has been placed by the predictions of one religeous radio station owner that Last Day could come in 14 weeks.

So with a date set (MAY 21st), some of those apocolyptic visions that Glenn Beck has been having might just come true...but they won't be from the left. It would be from the very teabagging, flag waving, Islam-hating, Xian warriors who hang on every word of Beck's and his cohorts on FoxNews, and in places like World Net Daily.

We haven't seen anything yet.

Arizona Hispanics flee state in droves before new immigration law S.B. 1070 takes effect in July

Hasta la vista! Reports are swirling that Hispanics in Arizona are fleeing the state before a controversial new immigration law goes into effect July 29.




The law, which has sparked a heated national debate, requires police officers to conduct routine traffic stops or other checks to ask people about their immigration status if there is "reasonable suspicion" they're in the country illegally.



Though precise numbers are not yet available, early anecdotal reports from local schools, businesses and residents indicate that Hispanics could be leaving in droves to avoid the law's impact, USA Today reported Wednesday.



Superintendent Jeffrey Smith of the Balsz Elementary School District, which is 75% Hispanic, said 70 students were pulled out of school following the law's passage April 23 and that parents said it was the reason they were leaving.

It is already having the desired effect.  You see, we're not talking about Canadians or Europeans who might be in AZ illegally (about a quarter of a million Canadians alone are in this country undocumented).  They want to get rid of the Hispanics.

The state's share of white, non-Latino residents slipped to 81 percent in 2009, down from 85 percent in 2000. So minorities made up nearly a fifth of Utah's population last year -- and a quarter of Salt Lake County's.



These latest minority estimates -- perhaps conservative, a leading state demographer says -- show a state continuing to look more like the nation of immigrants in which it rests, and where, in coming decades, a minority-majority population will recast how Americans define "minority."



Already the United States this year is, for the first time, experiencing more minority than white majority births, and Utah is about two generations behind but catching up, University of Utah demographer Pam Perlich said. The only way to stop the trend, she predicted, is to throw the state into a lasting economic slide.

But fear of Mexicans is just the tip of the iceberg.  White, middle-aged, born-agains are seeing their entire world go up in flames.

Radio stations they've listened to for ages now are in Spanish or Asian languages.  The local KFC may now be a El Pollo Loco.  Gays are not only marrying, but those unions seem to be outlasting straight ones.

People in their 60's are looking and acting younger.  Every sexual more seems to have been accpeted as normal except incest and bestiality, and they seem to be next.  Sweet songs of love have been supplanted with hard-edged tunes about fellatio and mastrubation.

America is no longer feared.  More laughed at than anything else.  Christianity seems to be losing out to Islam, Buddism, and even Scientology. Nothing is as people think it's supposed to be.

And on top of that.......on top of all that.......this great country is being run by.....one of.....them.

One of.......THEM.

Is it any wonder why, despite one of the most organized efforts to drive someone off the airwaves I have seen since the Smothers Brothers in the mid 1960's, Glenn Beck continues to to attract more than 2.3 million people.  And his advertisers are not the usual bunch either.  Gold coin sellers preaching that the only currecy that will be allowed after The New Troubles will be gold.  Survival food distributors.  The type of clients usually found on small market, ultra-rightest, the-illuminati-are-coming-to-get-you tak shows.

And it's more than that.  Beck's 9/12 movement has become, indeed, a politcal machine.  A machine that is beyond the control of the traditional GOP or even the Tea Party's queen bee, Sarah Palin.  It is the baggers who control THEM, not the other way around.

And they seem to be ready to die for their cause.  And kill.

The President has been strangly quiet about this.  The reasons for that I'll let you assume for yourselves.  The one question that can be asked here is....are there people in the United States, right now, who wish to conduct war on Mexico?

The Difference between Us and Them.

The cringeworthyness of what has been coming out of the mouths of our daily bloviators on both sides has been one of the myriad reasons for my near-nervous breakdown of the past week. I am being very serious when I tell you that it got so bad that suicide truly was an option, for I could no longer function on a planet gone haywire.

But there have been things that have caused me to back off. The caring of friends on and off line. And this:

Monday, Keith Olbermann declared war on Glenn Beck. After Beck's relentless hammering of Van Jones, which lead to his sneaking-Sally-down-the-alley resignation on Saturday night (supposedly to miss the bedtimes of the Sunday papers.....they still don't understand Twitter), Olbermann came on TV from 30 Rock with both guns blazing

But the difference between "us" and "them" is that "we" sometimes listen to common sense....or whatever passes for that. And on rare occasions....we actually heed:

A couple of things. It was weaved-around throughout Olbermann's monologue and interview, but the real ememies here are not Beck or Jones or Olbermann. It is the very zombies Olbermann talks about. These zombies....aka, the American people....believed all the bullshit about Obama being a Kenyan, a Marxist, a racist, possibly even the guy at NBC who ordered the death of Elle Bishop on Heroes. Of course he's none of those things, but they believed them. The zombies were looking for that Lone Voice In The Wilderness to actually speak The Truth as they knew it. First came Limbaugh, then O'Reilly. But Beck has combined showmanship and his ability to embarass himself to parlay it all into being the Great Leader of the RightieZombies.

The LeftieZombies, many of whom still think it's 1963, decided to stage a boycott and gave anyone whose ads wound up on Becks TV show an ultimatum: stop "supporting" beck or feel our wrath. Apparently the advertisers got the message, 60 have fled Beck's FOX show, though since the numbers came from Media Matters, you would think that count would be a bit high.

But two things the LeftieZombies forgot. (A) RightieZombies tend to rally around their martyrs. So as the number of advertisers leaving the show went up, so did the number of RightieZombies viewing: 2.5 million. And with that, those hawkers who left will quietly, sheepishly, return.

Then there's (B): The LZ's forgot one other thing: Beck's RADIO show. He reminds his zombies....and advertisers....that he has The Third Most Listened-To Program In America daily. So maybe that is why Wal-Mart publically opted out of Glenn's TV show....but Wal-Mart spots on Beck's RADIO show were heard last week.

My fear is that Zombies, once fed enough red meat, tend to stop following their leaders and go off on their own, even more voracious as before. And what Beck has started, he may not be able to stop. Because all it would take is one person...or a small group of people...who feel the only way to save America is to rid it of the one thing that is destroying it. Many of us know what THEY think is that one thing, but in truth, that one thing is.....US. Our phobias that we have allowed to eat away at our brains until we oppose anything that will advance the country physically, financially, sexually, morally. It is the mob...the people of America, by and large, which are its own worse enemies, destroying her from the inside.

Then there is one other thing...maybe related, maybe not. But note something that is said at the 8:24-8:37 spot of the youtube clip posted.

Yup, Glenn and Keith work in THE SAME BUILDING! As a matter of fact, I would assume a few NBC lawyers had a very nice talk with Glenn about saying he was broadcasting from Radio City, seeing that its an NBC trademark.

And Keith's battles with a certain King of the Falafels has definitely raised both their profiles, ratings, and amounts in their respective bank accounts. So it would not be out of question for Beck to think that he could benefit from such a situation.

And it would not be out of the question to imagine that on some Wednesday night in Rockefeller Center's Rainbow Room, two nattily dressed, sandy-haired gents....one chubby, the other taller and bespectacled, sitting in a corner, sipping on their respective Manhattans. And laughing hysterically about the individual groups of goobers they broadcast to on a nightly basis.

So there is this guy named Doc Thompson. He works for a station in Richmond, VA called WRVA. This week, "Doc" got his Big Break at National Radio Star-Dumm by filling in for the vacationing Glenn Beck.

Now anyone who has followed my posts knows that Glenn, himself, has been known for some outrageous statements, but to an extent he does temper himeself a bit.

Such cannot be said about "Doc." This is a man who has won five Marconi awards. Many of my fellow Twitterers would love to know what the award committee was snorting at the time of nomination.

The reason I am going in to this is what "Doc" said this week about hate crime legislation.

today for the former Plainfield man charged with beating a man and dumping his
body into the Shetucket River in Norwich.

Timothy J. Cote, 39, is charged with attempted murder and first-degree

morning, fishermen at Howard T. Brown Memorial Park heard a splash coming from
the area of the Laurel Hill bridge and saw a man, arms thrashing, float past
their fishing spot.

Responding police discovered a shoeless Uzialko floating in the river,
clinging to a chain behind a dock on the east side of Norwich Harbor. He was
semi-conscious and bleeding from his face and ears, police said.Police
interviewed people sleeping under the viaduct bridge behind the YMCA, a common
place for the homeless to drink and sleep. Cote and Robert Plummer were found
there sleeping. A pair of work books were found, along with blood and drag marks
leading to a wall that drops 30 feet into river. An “executive type desk chair,”
was found in the river directly below the wall.

roommates in the murder of a homeless man whose bloody body was found not
far from a playground in a city park last month after one of the men allegedly
confessed to a friend who later called police.

Herbert Taylor Bishop, 56, also known by his street name "Pac-Man," was
murdered in the early morning hours of May 11.

His bloody body was found later that day not far from the waterfront
bike path and children's playground in Skinner Butte Park.

stabbed to death on a street in Belfast today.

George Morrison, 29, was found lying in Brookhill Avenue in the north
of the city in the early hours of this morning.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested, police said. Detectives believe
there may have been a row before the attack at around 2.30am.

Local DUP MP Nigel Dodds said: ``It is shocking to hear that a man has
been killed in a knife attack in north Belfast.

``This is an appalling tragedy and our thoughts and prayers are with
the family of the deceased.

6.30.09 MASTIC BEACH, N.Y. - Police on eastern Long
Island say they have arrested three people on aggravated harassment charges
after they kicked and hit a victim while uttering anti-gay remarks.

Authorities say 21-year-old Nora Mitzner and 25-year-old Lindsay McBeth and
20-year-old Selwyn Icangelo pleaded not guilty at their arraignments in First
District Court in Central
Islip on Tuesday. McBeth did not have an attorney and Mitzner was
represented by Legal Aid, which does not comment on pending cases. Icangelo's
attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.

07.07.09 ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - For the third time in four
years and the second time in a month a cross-dressing man has been found dead on the streets of Albuquerque.
They are believed to be the victims of what police across America say is a growing hate crime: People born men, dressed as
women, and in all likelihood murdered because of that.

Janice Devereaux, the head of "Transgender New Mexico," believes Albuquerque is seeing that
trend.

“I think it's incredibly dangerous,” says Devereaux.

Police aren't sure why someone beat transgender Teri Benally to death last weekend.

Witnesses found Benally, 42, unconscious on Maple Street SE near Coal
Avenue. Benally died at a hospital.

“The individual may have been meeting somebody that they found online,”
Albuquerque Police Department spokesman John Walsh told KRQE News 13.

We understand, "Doc," that you fancy yourself as a kind of humorist on your dailta afternoon show on WRVA. You do have to admire someone who feels that smashing someone' skull because they wear a dress instead of overalls is hilarious, or that stabbing someone in the back because he has lost everything is side-splitting.

Maybe Mr Thompson should betold exactly how much people appreciate his unique comic stylings.
