Mr Corwin, known as the poet laureate of radio, wrote
"Between Americans" for a radio anthology sponsored by Gulf Oil. It was scheduled to be broadcast on December 7th 1941. Because of what happened earlier that day, the play, narrated by Orson Welles, takes on an even greater meaning.
