Weather Truthers. It ain't all that new...

For those who care, Alex Jones has been telling his loyal minions that the tornadoes that destryed a good chunk of Oklahoma are actually the result of weoponized weather, that was unleashed on an unsuspecting Red State.

However, this is not new.

In other words, so many people are SUR-PRISED about Alex Jones talking about this, when HAARP has been a staple on after-midnight radio for years.

Here’s the scoreboard for the latest ratings numbers from four representative markets:

KTLK/Los Angeles 3/13

This is what happens when you do not have a strong mid-morning show (COUGH-ED SCHULTZ-COUGH!!): 0.3. Lowest Ratings ever.  Progressives should start looking to buy a AM in the LA area, because its looks like NBC Sports 1150 is coming real soon.

KNEW/San Francisco 3/13

A slight UPTICK in numbers, as the station goes from 0.5 to 0.6.  People be-yatching about Beck in the morning should remember M-F its progressive from Noon to 3 in the morning.

KPOJ/Portland, OR 3/13

One of the BIGGEST MISTAKES ever in the history of all radio.  Progressive was doing a 1.4 in November when the rug was pulled out for Fox Sports. Today, it is the LOWEST RATED MAJOR STATION IN PORTLAND with a 0.1.  And to add insult to injury, Fox doesn’t have Jim Rome anymore.  Progressives should start actively seeking AM properties in Portland NOW.

WXXM/Madison, WI Winter/13

A progressive balm in the 99th market.  Though THE MIC slipped a bit, it is still the Number 9 station in the market with a robust 3.7, besting stations in markets more progressive and metropolitan than Madison.  Maybe the way to go for progressives is via small to medium markets.  That’s how the right did it.
